(1.) I got braids! I'm living out my elementary school dreams because the popular girl in my class would wear them and I wanted them too.

(2.) I got into Indiana University!!!!!!!!! I'm one of six chosen fiction writers for a tuition waiver and fellowship, which means I wouldn't have to pay anything (living expenses included) for graduate study. That was my hope because I planned that I wouldn't pay (it doesn't make sense imp) to study Creative Writing.
My time is New York is numbered. I don't know if I'll end up in Indiana since I'm still waiting to hear from other programs, but it's scary how quickly my life is changing. I'm kind of terrified.
In other news, I've been exercising consistently, so I've been seeing results on the scale. My eating needs more work though...not so much that I'm eating too much, but I can do better to eat healthier. I'll be back tomorrow. I've missed blogging--and all of you. --Alexia

ReplyDeleteIf you are on the fence at all you HAVE to visit Bloomington before you make your decision. This town is fantastic. We have incredible restaurants, amazing culture and pretty much everything you could ever want. Sure, a lot of Indiana is boring, but Bloomington is not. Bloomington is this amazing liberal, cultured, special mecca in the Midwest that is not to be missed. I promise you, you'll love it.
Ask me any questions you have. :)
